Our client is a top 100 internet e-commerce store located in North Florida. This position is a combination of .Net technical lead, project management and hands on Architect.

eCommerce Application Architect (Management Level Position)
I. Primary Purpose
This individual will be an integral part of the IT management team, working closely with the web development scrum master, marketing, and the CIO to shape the long term strategy for the e-commerce platform architecture as well as lead the development efforts associated with the short term goals.
II. Key Responsibilities
To lead the on-going development effort of our e-commerce platform, balancing business needs and opportunities with infrastructure requirements. Additionally they will be directly accountable for the performance, scale, security, and flexibility of the e-commerce application as well as leading the design/development effort required to expand the websites capabilities. This will include meeting with internal customers, stake holders, and Sr. management to develop requirements, design application changes, development, testing, and deployment.
III. Education & Experience Requirements
Direct experience designing web applications for a high-volume e-commerce environment is a must. Extensive experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design in a C#/ASP.Net environment is a required. Experience with T-SQL/SQL 2005/2008 and CSS/Javascript, is also required. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of e-commerce process flows, common commerce platforms, site analytics, search engine marketing, A/B and multi-variant testing platforms, site search and navigation technologies as well as experience with Agile development methodologies. Ten (10) years of progressive application development experience with at least four in high volume e-commerce is required.
IV. Problem Solving & Decision Making
The architect will work on a variety of challenging and complex problems from how to scale a high-volume e-commerce application to designing and developing new and cutting edge user features with in tight timelines. This will involve creative ways of blending new development with existing platforms and technologies. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with project estimation and technical task breakdowns. Additionally, they will be comfortable working within a team environment but equally capable of providing directly leadership, guidance, and mentoring to team members.
Compensation: 120K-180K base, bonus, and equity
